We believe…

…that Scripture affirms the concept that a senior person is to be viewed with honor and respect.

…that God has given the senior believer the responsibility to pass on to others the experience, maturity and wisdom that they have learned through the years, and

…that every member, regardless of their age, needs to be active in a ministry in the church body appropriate to their health and physical strength.

Fellowship

This is a ministry of good fun and fellowship and is open to ALL adults–married or single. Each month a new activity is planned and designed for adults to enjoy.

Why does life get better after 55?

Attitude: Take the bull by the horns and say, “Self, let’s not give up on life yet. Let’s make the second half of my life the best half?”

ACTIVE ADULTS teaches that kind of attitude. God is not done with us yet. He has a purpose for us here. He has gifted us with many abilities, and wants us to make the most of our time here on earth! This attitude is contagious. After spending some time with us, you too will be excited about the best years yet to come. But…

…you have to get involved. If you stay at home, you will miss the bet adventure of your life. But if you get involved, you will make new friends, discover new things, go new places, and make a significant difference in the lives of other in our community.

We are committed to…

…Ensuring that substantial visibility, care and recognition be given to the life ministries and needs of active adults (I Timothy 5:1-3, 9-10; I Peter 5:5; Ephesians 6:1-3; I Corinthians 12:25)

…Developing a ministry whereby active adults may invest time and energy in mentoring, encouraging and teaching a younger generation of individuals and couples. (2 Timothy 2:2, 3:10-11; Titus 2:2-5)

…Promoting a perspective among active adults that promotes serving others. (Galatians 5:6, 6:9-10; Mark 10:43-45)
