Join us for a nine-week class series led by Dr. Donald Partridge, author of Parent Wars and Loving Your Stepfamily, as he teaches tested principles that will help single parents and stepparents raise emotionally healthy kids. Not only is Don a sought-after conference speaker and stepfamily expert, Don has been there…divorced…a single parent…and is now in a successful stepfamily with seven children for 30 years.
After working with hundreds of stepfamilies, the author discovered the missing principles needed to stabilize children following their parents’ separation and remarriages. How to Be a Great Wife
Wednesdays, beginning April 19th @ 7:00pm
Women assume many roles in their life: leader, employer, Christian, mother, volunteer, politician, and so on. One of the best roles that many women choose to embrace is wife. But becoming a wife is more than getting married. God says that to take on the role of a wife is to be in a position of immense power (1 Peter 3:1-6). It is the power to change people in positive directions, starting with a husband and radiating out through children and into the community.
Taught by Jennifer Edwards, Publishing and Acquisition Editor for Principles to Live By, this class is based on the book, “God’s Radical Plan for Wives.” This class will run Wednesday evenings at 7pm in Discovery Corner. Thrive Kids ministry is available. Space is limited, so register early.
